The Background

Put simply, good mitigation gives anyone who is about to be sentenced a significantly higher chance of a lesser sentence.  We want to help and advise you how to present the best mitigation possible.

How we work

Our initial one hour video conference session with the defendant costs just £40.00. The session can also include others – family, friends etc – and is designed to understand all about your case and to develop initial thoughts about mitigation strategy. At the end of this session, a report will be sent to you outlining the suggested mitigation that we believe will help reduce your sentence.

At that stage you can choose whether to ask us to continue to work on your mitigation, which is charged at £25.00 per hour.  There is no minimum number of hours but we can agree a maximum, so you can be sure that you get best value for money.  . Alternatively, you can take the report and work on it yourself, it is fully your choice.

To organise your session, simply click here and book the session in.  We will contact you within 4 working hours to arrange the date and time for your video call.

If you are unsure, then contact us and we will be back in touch within 24 hours.

Complaints

As a client, we want to make sure that you always receive the best possible service, and understand the process at each stage.  We do recognise that at times we may fall a little short, and it is important that we are told about this as soon as possible.  Contact us and we will respond quickly.

Guarantees

It is impossible to guarantee what impact good mitigation will have on any case, so we don’t even try to make promises as that would be unfair and unethical.  But we can guarantee the following:

Good mitigation is better than no mitigation

Good mitigation is better than poor mitigation

Mitigation.org.uk will use knowledge and experience to give you the best mitigation possible.

See our case study for more information and the impact that good mitigation can have.
